PUBLIC EFFECT

Now that you know about the Special Sex Offender Sentencing Alternative (SSOSA) as a law, below is a 2002 case of its public effect. I have chosen a twenty year-old case to show that it is not something new. The first document is the Warrant of Commitment for a man found guilty of 2 separate counts of Rape of a Child in the First Degree (intercourse with two children, ages 4 and 7).

The second document is the SSOSA page of the Judgement and Sentence in the same case. It shows that his actual sentence was 132 months (11 years), however, under his SSOSA plea agreement he was only required to serve 6 months. 126 months were suspended in exchange for 30-36 months outpatient treatment.

If this is unbearable to you then please go to the Take Action page of this website. Otherwise, such atrocities will continue to your neighbors or, God forbid, your loved ones.
